Just an Update

It has been more than a month since I have updated my blog. Unfortunately, I still don’t have any time to write a full length article for my blog due to a lot of client work and other projects. Hence, I have decided to just update you about what’s going on currently and what’s coming in the near future:

1. I am working on some articles for Smashing Magazine which will go live within a couple of weeks.

2. Web development articles for CatsWhoCode and possibly Nettuts.

3. I would be launching at least 2 web applications this year- One of the apps would go live in summer 2010 while the other one would hit the web in fall 2010.

4. I have also started playing with the Windows Phone 7 SDK and XNA Game Studio. I am planning to launch a WP7 application in late 2010 and will possibly try to launch a simple game for WP7 in 2011.

5. The biggest task this year is to redesign and reinvent this blog. Just a redesign would not be enough because the polls indicate that readers want more posts related to web design and development in addition to my regular posts related to other topics like astrophysics, math and art. Hence, I need to reinvent this blog so as to accommodate all the above mentioned topics in a more organized way. Also, I can assure you right now that the new design would not be a 2 column layout. I am just sick of it and would not opt for it in any case.

All the above mentioned tasks go along with my regular client work. There’s a lot on my plate and I am really trying hard to complete all these tasks within time. I will surely come back with some interesting articles for this blog in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned :)

This is great! I really like your site and quality of articles. Very unique. How do you manage to do everything? Do you follow a daily task list or something? How many hours do you work? It would be great if you can share some tips.

Hello Soumya! I'm really glad that you like my blog content. I try to do my best. Yes, I do follow a to-do list to complete my daily tasks. I use teuxdeux for that. For my personal projects, I use ProjectPier. A normal working day consists of about 12 hours. I'll surely share some more tips on my blog in near future. :)
